I turn off my pumps and wavemakers to feed corals and my fish. Fish mainly bc my clowns host a filter overflow so its hard to feed them without the food getting sucked up. But I too find I have to turn off my flow to feed my corals. It definitely takes a little more time.
Yeah can be a bit of a pain but lucky its only once a week 2 if I can be bothered.

Hosting the overflow box damm mine just swim around everywhere at the moment.

Also heard it's full of phosphates to so need to rinse it a couple times.. stupid I say.

Yeah can be a pain direct feeding corals. See all the new corals ocean marine got?

Yeah don't like the idea of sifting food, not something I feel like doing in general lol.

Nah, I went in there briefly today to get some Magnesium because AG didn't have any but it was a quick in and out, didn't want to get distracted by their stocks lol.

Yeah at least you're twice a week. I have to turn off or unplug everything at least once a day.

Thats the spot theyve claimed and theyre sticking to it.

Couple new tank mates added

the blue star Leppard wrasse was in hiding for a day buried itself in the sand and as since popped back out has been swimming around happy, other than the fact the blue tang occasionally nips at it but leave it alone most of the time. Amazing looking fish!

And yes have already lined up a bigger tank in the next 18 months as the tangs will need the space 4ft in the pipeline. But for now they are both juveniles at 1.5inch and 1inch.

Thats pretty good growth. I guess you can see which ones grow quicker this way. Adding them all at once. Nice timeliness shots. Keep those going. This time next year it will be really cool.

Feels like it's been a while since an update. But have recently purchased a new larger tank soon to be installed. Here are some pictures for your thirsty Thursday.
