Noopsyche K7 PRO III (140watt) is also suitable for huge deep reef coral tanks. and it is less than €200/unit
Thank you for the input :)

I did not want a hanging light canopy for the reason that we have a ceiling fan by the tank. The hanging light would sway all the time.

I have read quite a bit about Noopsyche lights. I have not ever had a change to personally touch and feel your lights.

To days numbers using Aquaforest Probiotic for this water change. Yes I am a bit high with the Ca, Alk, and Mg. They will dissipate by Wednesday a bit. The import thing is the nutrients are under control for a week

I will go back to my regular does for the Alk then see were I am at by Wednesday

Lights are up with the 80/20 light rig, now to figure out the light intensity's. I like more blue than white.

I found a nice figured maple board in a stack.

Setting up the rig with the old Hydra 26 Hd's

Lights out and in with the new.

I decided to keep one of the Hydra's in the middle to cover the gap in the spread.

I am really liking the GHL lights and playing around with the spectrum, I set one Hydra 26 hd in the middle. I always had a gap in coverage in the middle
Mitras setting 9-21-22.png

I think that I need some adjustments

I took the bio pellets off line since the bio pellet are clumping, also the tank looks terrible since the carbon dose has decreased as a result of the clumping.
I switch back to dosing vodka, The vodka was working before I switch to the Aquaforest NirtaPhos minus which worked well be I now cannot find NirtaPhos minus to purchase. So for now it is Costco Vodka ;)

I am bring down the Alk again. I also am making smaller doses of 1+ 2+ 3+ instead of 8 times a day to 16 times a day to steady out dosing over a day period.

I am very fortunate that the power did not go down during the hurricane. Having a generator on location during the storm has helped because I did not have to use it with the last two hurricanes:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I am loving the GHL light and light mount. Right now I have the GHL setting set were my Hydra26Hd's are at. Once I get the GHA under control, the tank will be happy.

It Sunday and I am posting the parameters

No problems with Ian. I have a bunch of cyano starting to grow. I heard the county spraying for mosquitoes maybe the pesticide is still getting into the system. I think it is time to mix carbon into the Co2 scrubber, that or put down some stop spikes down before the county truck get near our house ;)

Alk is coming down and I have been playing with my light settings.

Doing some maintenance today.

The MP-40 was giving me a green/red light issue. I wonder how long this has been going on  Found a thread here but really did not find my answer. What I ended up doing is

  1. Cleaned the wet side
  2. Unplugged the controller
  3. unplugged the reeflink
  4. Hooked up the reef link with the USB
  5. The reef link power up with the USB
  6. Plugged in the MP-40 controller
  7. did a hard reset on the controller
  8. Boom I am in business again.

the error might have happen when we lost internet during Ian, and a reset was do. I did not upgrade the firmware since the have been so many issue with Mobiebus from echo tech. The reef link does not light up on the little ring on top, but everything is working like it used to and I can control the MP-40 via wifi.

Clean the gyers and clean off the rocks. I will test later.

I need to raise the MG and I am good, also I need to start feeding more. I purchased a couple of corals and that should bring my alk back down to where is needs to be.

It Sunday and another storm is coming. Tropical storm that is :astonished-face:

My numbers look pretty good for not check in a couple of weeks. I am going to adjust the Ca and that is about it.

I updated all of my GHL firmware for the Mitras, 2.0 stand alone dosers and the Maxi. I am happy to see that GHL increase the container size for the Maxi to 3000 liters. I only need 48 liters for my auto water change.

I was trying to mess with the Mitras composer but, GHL site was giving me error when I was trying to down load a schedule to play. Next time.

The nitrates are on the rise, but everything else looks good. I actually have corals living and growing
