I did a waterchange today and boy was it stressful. Right as I started my WC I notifed my skimmer broke so I decided to take it out and clean it but it is still broken. Halfway through my waterchange I notice my return pump is not pumping up water, so had to take everything out of the 3rd chamber (which is a lot), take the return pump out, and clean it. Luckily it was just clogged with algae. As soon as I got it fixed I ran upstairs and out it back in, along with everything else, and continued my water change.

So I guess I never updated my tank thread for the new corals I got, so here we go. 2 weeks ago I got my order in from SBB corals blowout sale. I ordered an Asian acan and I got a green berry goni for free.

(This is when I got them)

Haha, no. Only saw the tank for a few seconds before I had to leave and I didn't have my phone otherwise I would have. I just did a waterchange so now everything is not happy...

Springeri Damsels!
I thought of those but would they be okay in a 15g? I know springeris aren't that aggressive but because they'd be in such a small tank I wasn't sure.

So I am now Dosing Red Sea AB+ and culturing my own phytoplankton. I am now doing this because I realized that I wasn't feeding my corals. It explained slow growth (besides from my Duncan). Currently, my phyto culture is on day 2 and so far I believe everything is going well.

On the 25th, I have to leave for a wedding in Florida. I will leave really early Friday, the 25th and get back that Sunday mid-day. It's not a long time away from my tank but I still have to set up the autofeeder to go for one day while I'm gone.

Walker, I am so excited to follow your phyto journey. You saw something going on with your corals and you're doing the right things to fix it. Im following your progress, brother!
(This reminds me, I really need to update my build thread)

AB+ gave me instant cyano bloom. I threw $32 in the trash. It took 6 months to kick the cyano. Hope it works for you Walker.

I have been dosing AB+ for about a year now without any problems. It should be noted that I only dose it 5 ml once a week, so far without any negative effects. I couldn't say if there are positive effects because I also feed the corals with coral cane, reef roids, benepellets and I always add polyb-booster from polyb-lab between 10 and 15 minutes before.
