Tomorrow will be a busy tank day!

I’m gonna mix up 20 gallons tonight for a wc.

I will get everything out of the sump and clean the gear and sump tomorrow.

I’ll pick up the new fish at the UPS hub, usually around 10.

Also ordered a 12 pc frag pack from a member here. Zoas and pink cloves. $80 shipped. No big names but lots of color!

Sounds like a good kind of busy!

I've never seen the allure of fancy names for corals. I want corals to look nice. I have a bunch of "brand name" corals in my tank but I couldn't tell you which ones are which for the most part.

I’m pretty much an “if it looks nice I’ll buy it “ regardless of a name. And not expensive!

There are to many beautiful things to put in our tanks that don’t cost a lot.

Also have a larger return pump coming. Moving from the Jebao DCS6000 to the DCS9000 and adding 2 VCA random flow nozzles.

Those along with my 2 gyres should really mix things up!

How much head pressure do those nozzles create? Good luck tomorrow btw! Don't forget to have the camera ready

Good question! Off the top of my head they work best at 500 to 700 gph. There’s no moving parts, so I’m not too sure about head pressure. The pump I’m getting is variable speed up to 2500 gph.

Camera will be ready!

Cant wait to see the new additions. I may have missed it but not sure what fish you got. Although it’s better that way. More of a surprise

Well, I can’t resist. In my last tank we purchased a royal gramma and a flametail blenny at the same time.

Named them Lenny and Squiggy (from Laverne and Shirley) for all you GenX’ers and Millennials.

Flametail blennys are similar to bicolor blennys in color only. They are very much “eel like”.

I’m happy to get another one as they are not easy to come by very often.

Here is a video of Lenny from my prior tank......and Squiggy has been patiently waiting for his arrival in my current tank!

@mta_morrow next time a spoiler alert would be nice.
Great looking fish and glad you found one. It’s getting exciting around here

I only told 1/3 of what’s coming so it was a partial spoiler alert!

Based on this post and several others I have seen from you today, you seem to be in a very good and happy mood!
