I have seen only 1 of my wheelers pair the past 2 days. 3-4 days ago, I believe the male was chasing/spawning the female all over the tank. Just like the red lines cardinals and azure damsels do. I’m hoping that the female is just staying in the burrow. The male is just hanging out near the burrow, in and out a lot

Finally saw them both at the same time again.
The female has moved into a new burrow on the far left side of the tank.
I’m thinking she is guarding eggs
The male has continued to cruise the entire tank.

Cutting back on algae reactor lighting time to try and get phosphate up
Gonna add an extra feeding of pellets everyday for a while too.
