Morning ;Yawn;Happy Luckily it doesn’t seem to bad here. I did find a good way to stay warm last night.

Went to vet for last shots. Monday 50.2, Friday 57.6. And she’s a lapdog. My poor lap.

The rebuilding of the tank is coming along slowly as well. A few mushrooms are making a comeback. The cinnamon palys really growing. I put in a digi to see if the tank is ready. Added a lemon.
Just the fine details on the remod. Think I’d rather paint then wire my A/v

Hey, hitting all my threads with quick updates.
Sadly lost all 3 of my tangs, very possibly due to my fault. Not disease related. Anyway. With the tangs gone the others seem to be swim, but around more since they have some more room and no worry about aggression. Also thru in a Cuban hog today and a bunch more CuC.
My test corals are all still alive and have decent color. No PE, but at least right direction

Can’t wait to see what 11 years shows. I did add some Dr. Tim’s, chemi clean, and Microbacter a while back to finish getting rid of Dino and cyano, but otherwise will be interesting.

It was a eye opener to me. I have definitely old tank syndrome going on with mine, bacteria wise. My corals are healthy and growing though.

I HAVE A PROBLEM...
(It’s not one of the many I am fighting day to day)
I bought a Bi-color parrot. I could not resist. Behind huma trigger my favorite. Have not seen one up close in long time.
So here’s the problem. He’s small now. I put him in my 180 sine my 65 build is delayed waiting on rock. The 180 is finally back on a comeback to be a nice reef tank. Parrot and sps don’t go together. So I am risking the coral I currently have in the 180. Then I’m not sure I can house himin the 65 before he will need a bigger tank, so 3 rd build?
So for 1 fish I love I may have to restart the 180 again with sps and a 3rd large fish on,y tank.

Hope everyone stopping by had a good day today. I stayed low keyed.
I had picked up an Aquatic life hybrid a while back to use with my HD 52. I liked the t5 so much i pulled my led’s and retro’d in a 3rd t5 into the bracket. Just wasn’t really happy was the leds.
The parrot I was happy about died. It wasn’t disease, my lemon angel bullied him to death, poor guy. I didn’t catch it until he was bad off and no where to move him to when I realized it.
The tank itself continues strong. Looking at it now versus a year ago I would not believe same tank. Shows what lack of maintenance can do to a tank. Also hard to believe how clean it is now that It is a 11 plus years old. Only thing I did was wipe inside glass once this week.
Can finally just work on rebuilding coral, now onto the 2 other builds I got

Approaching a year here and redoing tank. big turn around
My live sale from @TCK Corals came in. Really nice stuff. Frags were really healthy. Problem is my lemon peel that has never been a problem with any other stick before all of a sudden took interest in all the new frags. I was hoping my new build we be up for these frags but it wasn’t. Oh well.

Hi gang, or anyone able to follow my rambling builds
this will be funny but kinda of hard to follow. I ordered an Aqua UV 3/4 inch 57 watt from marineandreef last week. I got it in Monday. I open it and the fittings are the 2 inch. i look at my receipt and confirmed I ordered the 3/4. Apparently the sticker on the box shows 3/4, but the box itself is marked 3/4. I called Aqua uv and they didn’t believe me. I had to send them pics

Alice from Aqua UV knew they were wrong and simply replied were are shipping them, they will be there Friday and I will send a tracking #. Guess what never came???? A tracking # or the part.....
yayyy for customer service right.. oh well. The wait goes on

So, just wrapped up my other build ( mostly unless I see some sweet frags )
I have my UV ready for this one. The last of the plumbing will be in this week from marine depot. i redid the rock work again. Once the order comes in, I am putting in my new pump and uv and that’s it. No more of either tank for a while

I got all my plumbing, new maxspect jump pump and Aqua UV ready. So for the 2 Nd time in less than a year time to redo plumbing. After this no more. pics to come this weekend

Started my install of the new Aqua UV and Maxspect Jump today.
I bough a 1 in bulk head socket from brs 3 weeks ago to help make this easy. Walked by it on the counter every day for weeks. Started the projects and guess what, couldn’t find the dang thing.
So 3 hours today spent looking around, all i was able to do was cut out my old return line and rough in the new lines. I swear I turn a 3 minute job into a 3:hour tour.
