One of my 4 tanks I now have is my new

Innovative Marine 15 nano tank.

I had a Fluval flex 9g. And the filtration in that system was not cutting it. Even with upgraded pump and media inserts. I was not happy. And neither was anything I tried to grow in there.

So I decided to upgrade the tank to a 15g. More water volume better options for upgrades and more importantly better filtration.

Equipment for this Tank

Light - Hipargero 100W 5 channel LED
Fluval 100w Heater
Cooling fan above the tank.
INKBIRD ( tank is in garage need temperature management)

I upgraded the return pump to a simple 300GPH pump from Amazon. Double the power of the pump it comes with. But because i like to stack polish pads on top of my filtration bags. I need to be able to pull through my sock and filter pads.

Fiji pink sand for substrate.
With crushed coral reactor media on top. For mushroom frags and to help keep sand down.

The plan for this tank are as follow.

LPS dedicated tank.

Chalices, Hammer, torch coral,
Scolymia, trachyphyllia, cyrania corals will be housed here. I have most currently in my. 75g system growing while tank settles.

Used some live rock rubble to help speed up the cycle of the tank.

For fish live stock

1 purple firefish
1 blue assessor
1 micro tiger goby
1 yasha/candy pistol pair
1 yellow clown goby

Here is a picture of the tank sitting on bottom shelf of my stand in my garage.

That's a lotta fish for a 15g tank. I would cap it at 3 if I were you

Good luck with the build
Definetly agree I’m pushing it.
Micro tiger is super small as well as the yasha. And yasha will be living down low in tank.

The toss up will be the fire fish and basslet for sure.

As for fish 1 inch for every 2 gallons is what I go by.

This was in storage after I had to move. It was on my 40g breeder. I did have a good experience with it. Even the customer service is good. One of the power blocks got wet and started to sizzle. They sent a replacement for free

How has it performed for you?

I run these lights on all my other systems also. And I’ve gotten some really good results.
I was wondering what do you have your lights set to? I normally use the mixed reef setting

On this set up. I am using the LPS setting at 40% blues 45% cyan i believe and 2% white.

Only SPS i have growing in here currently is a JF Freak Hair Pavona on the back wall up high.
Other than that just bunch of chalice varieties, scolymia Trachyphyllia, Canaria hammer, frogspawn and some discoma mushrooms.
