Good catch! I should invest in a controller...Sheesh… disaster avoided… went out of town, and set the house thermostat to 77. Looks like the room my tank is in got HOT.
Got an apex notification, and was able to get someone to run by and turn the AC down…
Tank is starting to level off! Keeping an eye on temps
I’m really glad I did! I got it used with tons of modules for $300 on Facebook marketplace. Well worth it after this little event lol.Good catch! I should invest in a controller...
Currently using an Apex EL on both tanks, it’s the lower model of the last generation of apex, but does everything I need. What version do you have. I can't decide between apex, hydros, or something open source like reef angel.
Who makes the frag rock? I need something like that!
Oof… bought some new torches and it looks like they may have had some flatworms or eggs that made it through my dip.
Really hoping they are isolated to the torches on the frag rack… as you can see in the video, there are two worms and a nice batch of eggs where my torches flesh used to be
Minion is a Coris Wrasse, correct?Haven't seen any additional flatworms! Even when peeking with red light at night.
I also got a little helper to keep them at bay, even if they made it through my dips. Welcome Minion to the tank!
Happy Poccy
Love this torch! Looks like its starting to split, woo!
Update FTS! With my eye sore UV sterilizer lol, I will move it into the sump at some point.
Frag rack has a couple new torches! Cotton Candy, NY Nicks, Dragon Tamer, and a purple indo with green center. I'm honestly out of room on the rocks and probably should't have bought the torches lol.
Starting to look into a tank upgrade... something in the 120-150 gallon range.
Yep! Yellow "Coris" Wrasse, Halichoeres chrysus.Minion is a Coris Wrasse, correct?
Love your clowns!Dang! Really been noticing the blue coloration on my larger female clown lately. And all the black spots from bumping into torches lol.
Thought this shot was interesting, though a bit busy lol.
