Hey guys - Setting up for my first tank - IM AIO 40L. Will be a mixed reef with 5-6 fish and primarily soft/LPS corals. Looking for some feedback before I glue everything together. There's 1-2"s between rock and inner dimensions on all sides. Highest point is 9" vs. tank height of 13". Appreciate any and all comments.

are you going bare bottom or sand? If sand you’re going to have to add 2” of overall height to the scape. Also remember that the water line is not the height of the tank. I’d estimate the waterline in the tank to only be 12” deep so your 9” scape is actually 11” including sand in a 12” deep tank

I never finish anythi

No because you put the sand in last .
