Recently an AI hydra for $100, a nice foot long piece of montipora for free. And years ago i got a 165g tank, light, lids, aragonite, 150lbs of live rock, and a few fish for $250. Also last year ordered an aqueon proflex sump, it came damaged. The inlet came loose, siliconed it, company sent me a brand new 1 didn't have to return damaged one.
Ordered 2 wave makers, was a delay in shipping. Company returned my money and still sent the wavemakers.

My lights were died out on me a few weeks back. I’ve been using some old true lumens to get me through. I want to buy some Xenia’s really badly but I’m afraid this light isn’t enough.

Does I count that I gave away ? I had a Oceanic Bow front 280 Gal tank spring leek on a seal. I drained cleaned and put it on Craigs list Free to the first person that can move it out. My back can no longer help with lifting Bring Help.
That day I had 2 young men show up and I gave them the tank , stand , canopy , sump , skimmer , return pump , 2 Maxspect Gyers first gen , 200lbs of LIVE rock. and all live stock.
I was worried that the saltwater was going to trash the hardwood floors so It had to get moved ASAP. It would have cost a lot more to refinish the floor that to down size to what I have now.

I'm always on the hunt for good deals and two come to mind. It was late in the day at a frag swap, and I got a beautiful rainbow ricordea for 15 dollars, and I at a fish store I visited out of town, I was given a tiny four hand frag of purple pulsing xennia for free because it was just loose in their frag tank. (I don't have any photos of it on my phone right now)

My current build is a 120 custom that came with a stand. My wife saw the picture, and liked it so I offered $300. When we got there to pick it up, we got the custom tank, stand, canopy, side cabinets/shelf units for both sides (all custom made using nice oak 3/4” plywood), MH-T5 light fixture, all the plumbing, acrylic 40g sump, external 10g acrylic cube fuge, and other miscellaneous odds and ends. I felt pretty good about the deal. It is taking me a while to set up because my wife wants me to strip the original finish and whitewash the oak. It looks pretty nice so far!
