My corals are dying — I have an inverse ratio!!!! Might need to seek some professional help soon.New research suggest hobbiests cannot attain optimal coral growth until surpassing a R2R MRS ratio of 1:3
Starting to make sense why my corals have not been doing well recently. . . My MRS ratio is about 1:1
Not scientifically proven yet but I’ve heard that higher concentration of vodka helped boost polyp “extensions” so more MRS?Does anyone know the effects of vodka dosing on the MRS ratio?
I’ve also heard this. Particularly when factoring in the frag size coefficient and “pray to God” it survives constants. Not scientifically proven yet but I’ve heard that higher concentration of vodka helped boost polyp “extensions” so more MRS?
“Frag size coefficient” - lolI’ve also heard this. Particularly when factoring in the frag size coefficient and “pray to God” it survives constants.
Ha! Maybe my joke was funnier than I initially thought. I was being a nerd…“Frag size coefficient” - lol
I can see that many R2R fish brains are in the gutter …

Wow! That really gives new meaning to "frag garage"....Ha! Maybe my joke was funnier than I initially thought. I was being a nerd…
I’m not a people person, very shy and timid, hence I got into reefing. I prefer talking to fish and corals — they don’t have attitude problems, don’t talk politics, have a bad hair day (well, some torches do), got personal problems, etc. In other words, they don’t talk back! So no — I would not make a good R2R greeter! All you have to do is welcome new members in the meet and greet forum. It's a reaction score feast! Also why the scores are meaningless.

Seems like you have an inversed MRS ratio -- do you need a hug?Pointless… I had 12,000 messages before they even Introduced a like button on here lol..
Nah… a beer will do!Seems like you have an inversed MRS ratio -- do you need a hug?
I'm right behind with the WC crowd -- my SPS-dominant (90%+) tank will past 4yrs next month and still no WC! haPerhaps then time for a thumbs down button. I'd reign supreme amongst WC and skimmer crowd
btw: this whole thread was purely done in jest. I don't live my life thru acknowledgement of others. I don't even have social media nor follow influencers. Ok - fine, my "influencers" are many of you on this forum! All you have to do is welcome new members in the meet and greet forum. It's a reaction score feast! Also why the scores are meaningless.
Lol! I could tell from your original post it was a joke. There may be others that do look at that stuff as valuable along with badges though. At the end of the day, with much respect to R2R of course, there’s nothing tangible to gain from them other than pride. I personally wouldn’t mind starting another profile over again if it were allowed.btw: this whole thread was purely done in jest. I don't live my life thru acknowledgement of others. I'm here to learn & share my reefing experiences. The rest is just plain...fun! Happy Reefing!
Life is too short to take things seriously (without harming others, of course). My work life is very stressful so reefing & R2R are my therapies from its challenges. Therefore, it's just all for humor & entertainment.Lol! I could tell from your original post it was a joke. There may be others that do look at that stuff as valuable along with badges though. I hear ya there, and I agree. I just like to participate because I value the reefing community and want to support us as much as possible. So after a while, we might get those participation badges and such, and others may read into them a little too much. So I constantly try to explain that I am a hobbyist myself and keep things real.Life is too short to take things seriously (without harming others, of course). oh btw: I've tried to gain more badges last year but failed miserably...again, all done in jest!
S/He Who Dies With The Most R2R Badges Wins?
I couldn't help but noticed that @vetteguy53081 has nearly 20 R2R badges?@#$ At some point, do you plan to frag your badges? I've been very diligent but having a terrible time getting them to grow. What is everyone's secret?www.reef2reef.com
