Got this torch from someone yesterday and I'm not sure if it's receding or not. 1st pic was this morning and 2nd is from just now

The color is beautiful but its def not super healthy. A Healthy torch will have tissue going over the edge and far down the stem. You can keep an eye on it and see if the tissue heals over, if it starts to close up do an iodine dip on it.

It looks like it's receding. You want lots of flesh around the base. I have pink tips and it grows like a weed. Here is a picture with the lights off showing the flesh.
