Sorry but haven’t got to much further. Been busy working etc.

Just need to clean the sump out nice and start filling with water. Also have to paint the overflow and let it cure so I can fill the display with water.

Going to need to order the bulk pro anon DI resin seem to burn it quickly. City water getting 96.6% rejection from 367 tds starting. Could do better but I’m running two parallel 100 gpd membranes at 140psi split into both. Thinking of putting a gauge on each membrane input after the split to see if they are lacking.

Ok back at it. Got back from hunting and leaving again on Black Friday.

The sump is officially live. All the LR that was in the 50 gallon tub is now in the sump.

If you remember the picture of me laying inside the sump that's how much LR is in there. It's on top of the custom grate support I made.

now to finish hooking up the skimmonster to the sump.

Taking advantage of black Friday deals to get the new apex. Got my classic wet a few times and my probes are years old.

It will be nice to have some of the new features and the new power strip. So now I'll have all kinds of stuff controlled. I assume you all have seen all my apex gear.

So I made it back to town again. I’m ready to get back at it.

Got my Black Friday buys and had the new apex hooked up within hours of getting home. I have to say that I was unsure if I would see any difference other than external hardware but boy was I wrong. All the added stuff in fusion vs what you see with the classic is fantastic. Ok well it’s not a bunch of stuff but there is changes.
I’ll be finishing up the rest of the hook ups and modules tomorrow.

A couple shots of fusion.
Old... don’t mind the readings probes need some serious cleaning.

New apex. Basically just started.

Thought that the power usage dashboard is pretty cool.

Got the 400 watt MH equivalent LED light over the tank. Trail running it. Its really bright and I like the 5k color. Picture doesn't do the brightness justice. Now I have to set the dimmer vrsp port so i can dim it.

The tank is looking awesome, but from another monster owner, please don't mount your Apex to the back of the tank like that. I did that, and that's why I have a brand new Apex. The salt will destroy it, and murder all the connectors. It *really* can't be mounted to the stand, nor underneath. The water will drip down the side at some point and rust it. Build a little cabinet or something off to the side, or mount it to an adjacent wall, or anything. I know it sucks in terms of having to buy extra-long cords for everything.

If you are just testing or whatever, that's fine, but don't leave it there.

Think you missed the part about it being only temporary. Its going in a cabinet.
