Glad you're ok! I'm in Fire/EMS and we've seen a lot more cardiac issues in younger people since Covid. They identified that pretty early on though. We've had probably 4 or 5 guys on my department in their 30s and 40s with supraventricular tachycardia. A couple of them needed cardioverted to get them back into a normal rhythm.

Is that the one that gives temporary tunnel vision? Mine does the flip and then my vision blurs around the edges. It doesn't happen very often, only when I'm starting to fall asleep laying down. If I felt it while sitting or standing I think I'd be a tad more concerned.

That means the "flip flops" are lasting just long enough to reduce your cardiac output. The "tunnel vision" is what's called "near syncope." You're almost passing out :)

If he's trying to sleep that might not be so bad. ???

For me yes but I'm not sure if that's because of the feeling short of breath or just part of the heart feeling like it flip flopping.

Yeah, it's noticeable. I can feel my heart feel like it stops and then go again.

Mine got worse after getting covid 3 times and as I got older. The medicine in on helps most of the time.

You might wanna get it checked out especially if it starts getting worse.
Hasn't gotten any worse. I feel it every couple of months. Usually I roll over in my side and it goes away.

That's the way my PACs have been for years. Looks like I get to throw PVCs into the mix for fun.

Reasons why I need a bigger tank:

I'm not even posting the horror that is my SPS island. They are all trying to grow on top of each other now.

And yes, I need to clean the glass.

Weekly goals

Between calls to insurance company and vacation Thurs-Sun:
1. Test alkalinity. Come on JoJo, it's the easiest test!
2. Order new Berghia. The Aips are out of control again.
3. Prep for 4 days away from the tank...
4. Change carbon in all tanks, add carbon to observation tank to remove Kanaplex
5. Prep mysis for observation tank while away
6. Clean the glass and take glamorous photos

What does your carbon routine look like?
I try to change carbon (little bag of ROX carbon thrown in the AIO media basket) between 2 and 4 weeks apart. If I go too long, the leathers start to suffer. Worst case was my enormous pink kojo wada melting, which I luckily managed to recover a few small pieces that lived.
