Yes, I do, and I've been surprised by how many pods I find when I remove coral to clean them up like I did today--clipped off all the vermetids from my hammer and octo, lots of pods milling around the bottom of the rock. Wrasses decimated them from the glass and on top of the rocks, but they are still in there somewhere.

Haven't lost hope on the clam yet. Long way to go though, I think. Going to see what Clammania has tomorrow.

Got a few zoas for you but didn't get to mount all of them, so some are on small bits of rubble. Might be able to stick them on plugs quickly tomorrow. Do you want a pink nepthea as well?
NO... Have way too much pink nepthea as it is! Don’t worry about mounting anything... I will just stick it in a crevasse or glue it on a bit of rubble.

HOPE!

Looks like the hippo might like the Kessil. I just dosed some RN PacPods, and was super thrilled to see its incurrent siphon active and pumping!!!

Super productive day at Anaheim Coral Farmer's Market! Nice haul, too, thanks to @TangerineSpeedo and another local reefer!

Here's the happy couple of tiny clams!

The german blue digitata looks awesome next to the other montis. Much better than the camera catches.

That's the small frag. This massive frag is mounted and on a sand frag rack. Still thinking of best placement.

Pink birdsnest has its own spot. @TangerineSpeedo does this piece do OK in medium light?
1708829513684.jpeg

And my favorite so far (besides the clam, of course), the pink branching cyphastrea!!! This thing is stunning. Didn't get a great shot, but it looks awesome. I'll probably have to keep that area well-pruned, because the cloves are a bit out of control (but super fluffy and look good) and the green encrusting cyphastrea won't appreciate the other cyphastrea touching it.

Last but not least, the dragon lady bounce shroom! First bounce shroom. Hopefully a sunkist or neptune bounce next.

Fingers crossed they have a good Sunday. I'm always nervous coming into the office on Mondays!

Dropped in on the clams today real quick. Hippopus was on its side, crocea was still in its mini cradle. Was worried about the hippo. Dosed some pac pods into the tank again and the hippo began gaping and then didna big pump, so hopefully not too bad. It has no byssal threads at all, so I think the cerith--there is one cerith constantly on both clams cleaning--that is knocking it over. Nudged it upright and it reopened its usual amount.

Tomorrow some water testing and playing with the Kessil to see if I can rig up the reflector more securely.

For what it’s worth my new hippo also still doesn’t have byssal threads or any attachment, it gets knocked a bit by sand CUC every once in awhile. Tried giving it rubble or bigger pieces but seems ok with just rolling around. I try to right it as soon as I can but hasn’t seemed too cranky yet.

How big is yours hippo again? I've got a great small-sized rock that has a crevice in it that I've submerged mostly in the sand to the crevice is partly filled. If the hippo gets knocked over it's at least still kwaning upwards and catches some light.

It’s pretty small, probably about the same size as yours. I need to dremel it a little cradle from rubble sometime but fingers crossed last few days it’s gotten balanced near the derasa so I hope it’s balanced enough. It is getting more comfortable open so I think that helps it have a lower center of gravity

thanks! DIY, mix of 4 ~10w bridgelux 5000K + ~25 3w (mix of chinese + luxeon, couple wavelengths of blue, 6500k white but also mint & 4 reds). Aesthetic is a little above 6500K i would guess, probably closer to 6500 than 10000 in MH terms

Nice, these sound similar to the 21ledUSA ReefPro bars. I got these for my Evo and they worked well--very strong. Your clams are clearly enjoying it!
