Please do not try the DC Jebao coral box skimmer ,I never could get it dialed in right and always had microbubbles,I like the bubble Magnus;reef octopus and vertex skimmers

That's a beautiful setup! I went with a mix of dark and light sand and love it. It took me wayyyyy longer to setup than I thought it would. It's worth it

Thank you. I thought the black sand would make a nice contrast with the white stand. I'd love to see pics of yours.

A little old still but much more accurate. I like the way it has mixed

Tomorrow's pay day and I've got some extra hours this pay period. I think I'm going to order a new light. I've pretty much made up my mind on the AI Hydra26. But I'm still trying to decide between the controller for it or the new Director.

I checked my water this morning and I've got some nitrites. Looks like the process has begun.

Both are nice, only good part about director is that it is interet based, so can be co trolled from anywhere theres a connection.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the director. The main thing making me question it is the ios app for it doesn't have very good reviews. But I'd probably do the initial set up on my laptop anyway.

Just checked and the reviews for the android app aren't that great either.

I PERSONALLY AM GONNA START WITH THE WIRELESS CONTROLLER. MOST OF THE ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE FROM HOME AS I'M STARING AT THE TANK ANYWAYZ

Yeah, and it sounds like the director needs to get some bugs worked out.

Love the message I got from Marine Depot. :)

"Your aquarium supplies have been carefully picked from Marine Depot's shelves like delicate berries and placed into a wicker basket lined with unicorn fur. With the grace of a ballerina, we tiptoed them to our packing station where Santa's Elves who work with us during their off-season prepared your order for shipment."

Can you include the unicorn fur in the package? :)
