Since DSA went belly up, I am no longer able to get the Neo 105 I wanted. So, I have decided to get a SC Aquarium so 150 gallon PNP system in starfire.

http://www.scaquariums.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=SCA-150GPNP

For now I intend to use all of the provided equipment. I want to be able to give a honest answer when asked if they are a good deal or not.

Right now I am certain on a few things. I am ordering an Apex Gold system, among other items.

My wife wants to use the canopy that comes with it so that limits my lighting choices.

Right now. I can get a Reef Breeders Photon 60-with for 530.00. I can get the Current USA Marine Orbit Pro 48'-60' dual fixture for 550.00. Or I can get two Coral if Lunar 4 bulb T5Ho fixtures in 30 inches for 163.00 x2.

What other lightin options would you all suggest?

You're going to want a min of 6 bulbs on a t5 fixture.

I am very seriously considering the 8x80watt 60inch ATI fixture.. I am going to try to get myself set up as a distributor for them to see what the price îs. 662.99 retail îs crazy high for a t5 fixture in my opinion. I can get high end LED's for that.

If you want just one single light I would go 8 bulb ATI. Beautiful SPS tanks are lit by that fixture. That being said I still love the 60inch reefbreeders I got off you and it is growing my sps well but in the next couple of months I plan to add 4 36 inch t5 bulbs by using those retrofit kits at BRS. LEDs are going to produce a lot of shadowing and base die off if you get colonies or when your frags grow out. I believe this combination will allow me to grow SPS basically anywhere I want.
But the reefbreeders will definitely grow SPS. Mine is only on like blues 55 and whites 40 and my monti cap, rainbow Mille, slimer, sour apple BN, and purple acro are starting to take off. Others are growing just a little more slowly.
