SCA wrote back. He wants photos of the other side. I get that, but I can't lift the tank and take photos. It would take a few people. It sucks this seam is in such a bad place. If it was on the side or front then I could keep an eye on it, but the back is painted black and the other pane is of course on the stand. I was sort of looking at it today, the whole edge of the glass is visible. The interior silicone is of course fine. I tried to get that gravel out, cause it looks like it is just right there, but it is actually under the glass embedded in the silicone? So I wasn't able to get it out. I don't really know much about tank building to know if this is a long term issue or a never issue.

The aire of the post from glass boxes was epic. That was legit the best F-off I have ever received from a business in my life. You can't afford our tanks then suck it. I love that crap. I wish I could get away with it sometimes. I was looking for a way to get the price down a bit to make up for the horrid shipping rate. I'm glad I didn't buy on Friday, because SCA wrote back, and Waterbox and Miracles quotes came in. So I am really hoping SCA will replace this bad boy. I really don't want to drop 2 grand on another tank.

Didn’t Steve tell you to take a picture from below before on it? Too bad you didn’t grab one while you were moving. Is there any way you can slide it on the stand far enough to take a picture of the seam to send to him?

@Devisissy

My only reason for replying on this tread was to offer empathy, encouragement and hope. I shared in posts #12 and #63. My spirit is still the same. I really do feel for you, your situation and the way it has made you feel. I am really sorry for that. Hope that things really do work out for you.

Thanks so much for your candor and unfiltered feedback. Can't wait to see you with all this in the past and running your tank. Thanks, Joe

No he didn't because this was not an issue until the first test fill. Also, the last thing on my mind when moving from a house I lived in 20 years and having to drive back and forth 2 hours and already having the movers screw so much up was taking photos of the tank. Not that photos from outside would show much.
