Played with it a lot at first but settled on100% Blue 18% White. A few days of the week 90 and 18.
@Jeffcb if your thermometer is reading in Fahrenheit then you’re golden.Coral Nutrition AB+ should be refrigerated? Well that should work then. I does put out a little heat but I will try it.
That was actually water in that bottle. Its live on the doser now and running at 41F in a 500ml bottle. . The problem is it has shut off a couple pf times. Not sure why. I do know of several people including a LFS that just dose it at room temp. I don't think the problem is it spoiling, its that it thickens up and clogs the line. Talked to one person that says he just keeps about a weeks worth in the bottle and its fine. The on-off switch on this cooler is a touch sensitive switch and hopefully I accidently hit is why it shut off.
@Jeffcb I agree with you on this potentially thickening and clogging the lines. For this reason I have a magnetic stirring plate for my dosing container that I’ll keep in the fridge too. As far as tank volume and dosing instructions go, a 250mL bottle will last me just at 7 days. That’s 12mL supplement per 25G system volume = 36 mL per day x 7 days = 252 mL. That’s at the rate for ULNS method and the fact that my custom sump adds more water than the stock RSR 250 system.
@Jeffcb looking at this it has a lot more cooling power than I imagined. Maybe I’ll pick one up. If I get a second vessel for my water change & mixing station I won’t have room for my fridge. I’ll have to use something like this if I dose out of a bottle bigger than 250mLReefDose is working well and as designed. I still have not onboarded the 4th head For Coral Nutrition AB+ because it is supposed to be refrigerated. I found this on Amazon but the cup is 70mm in diameter and the Red Sea bottle is 72. I may order one and see if I can modify it some how.
