your aren't wrong! that's a very small tank. impressive non the less that you are having luck with it. that goes to show your consistency and dedication to the reefing hobby.
Thanks for the kind words! It’s definitely been a pain but 100% worth it.

That’s amazing isn’t it! What did you use to dip?

Just regular CoralRX. General consensus looking back is that the coral had been severely damaged in shipping but with the way softies can pout it wasn't obvious. As a first time coral owner though I was sure that I'd just melted my coral with this mysterious dipping process!

Sure was cool watching that Kenya Tree come back from nothing, to a barely perceptible "nub", to a full blown polyp, to downright prolific! Sure, it's just a common Kenya Tree but its tenacity made it win a permanent place in my heart. I'm just glad I liked the rock and left it in the tank lol.

Not technically the first coral in our tank, but the first coral I’ve picked out since getting back into reef from fowlr!

We have a few soft corals our tank tech put in as testers but I don’t think we’ll be keeping them except for maybe this zoa. It’s not too happy right now cause our new puffer tried to nip at it

First and second coral I got for my first reef tank. With whites is when I first got it and blues was just the other day. All the (eagle eye?) polyps were on the top when I first bought it and now the whole thing is surrounded. Second was my torch (green mouth purple tip?) and he’s grown another head since I bought it.

It was sold to me as a “purple torch” but I think it has a bunch of names but I usually refer to it as a purple tipped green mouth or Miami Hurricane torch.
its very cool! I gotta find one of those ! how long have you had it
