Hey guys, so I’ve been treating my tank for ick for about maybe 2 or 3 weeks now, and I’ve started wondering why the ick won’t go away. Any got a suggestion to make it go away faster? I’m upgrading tanks soon and would like this gone before then (2 or 3 weeks max). I’ve been treating with Ick attack, don’t know what else I can do.

You need to treat all fish in copper (copper power or coppersafe) at 2.5ppm or at hyposalinity for 30 days at 81F. Ich attack doesn't work.

Using Uv, ozone and feeding well including lots of nori manages it for me. Probably noticed it 3 times in 10 years. I've seen the spots and the fishes flashing but after the ich have dropped off I don't notice it again for a few years. Never lost any fish from it. I really do believe using ozone and Uv together and the feeding works at managing it. To the point where it's kind of a non issue for me now.
