This evening it's back to trying to attack itself in a corner spot of the glass, assuming seeing it's reflection. Looks like that's what's causing the rapid breathing.

It's still eating though, so I guess we just have to deal with the annoying behavior for now.

I wonder though - in re-reading this thread, maybe the prazi DID help? If so, you'll need to dose it a second time about 8 days after the first dose.

I have a suggestion for you to try, more of a process of elimination test.

But I also urge you to follow Jay Hemdal's recommendation below, of running a second dose of Przaipro 8 days after the first. As he says its possible there were flukes involved and its then possible that a secondary fluke flair up could occur if the flukes layed eggs.

But here is my suggestion:
From the video's on your other thread about this fish and its issue I think I recall you had viewing access right around the tank. If so
Decide which pane of glass the fish was mostly aggressive at, do not clean this glass at all just let it dull up on the inside with algae. Do the same with 2 other panes of glass, only clean one pane of glass where you believe he has not shown aggression at. Look for behavioral changes over a few days.

I still believe the fish is reacting to reflections of itself and if so you would see the location of aggression change. But this could be influenced by lighting, so perhaps it does not change by location but goes away and after a period if you clean all the glass again and it flairs up it leads to the same conclusion.

Back to fast breathing, hiding some today. Still eating though. Honestly not sure what the deal is. It was freaking out at either it's reflection or our flipper scrapers yesterday. It "attacked" for hours, but still ate.

It looks super ticked off at something from the first video. Like mad at its own reflection maybe or mad at the angel? Im no fish medic but it looks behavioral to me! Very spazzy fish!

Back to being extremely skiddish. No clue what's wrong with it as it was the boss of the tank as any pbt usually is. It was still eating though which I guess is a good sign. Just wish it would stop acting so stressed out

Back to thinking this one isn't gonna make it the way it's acting. It's hiding and frantically breathing.

I thought it still eating was a good sign though

So - it’s still eating today?

Can you post a fresh video? Maybe I’ll see something that could help with the diagnosis…..

When I look at your video, I see a vibrant PBT trying to exercise dominance with all the others, not an easy task!

Hopefully, he will continue to eat while the heirarchy process completes.

Sorry this was the best I could get of it. Haven't seen it eat any nori today but is eating brine they gets blown it's way

Staking out his night time spot?
My blue and Desjardin both do that, hide in rock work.
I’d just keep eye, I would expect that to slow in coming days.
Once it settles in, you should be fine…nice tank…

Thanks! Had it 3 weeks today. Took a week to start eating. Ate everything I gave it except mysis, boss of the tank already, now the behavior that I tend to see fish act like before passing.

Hopefully it's just still adapting. If it's eating something, I have some hope.

I applaud you! Not an easy entry!

If you’ve seen that behaviour before ending in death, you could be right.

To me, He looks like there’s so many competitors, he don’t know which to assert first.

Then, when lights on, sees another PBT.

That’s such a great fish.

Most find their way (too the top), if we can keep them from infections.

Our first one we had not one issue with except for not being able to add anything to the tank. It was so healthy and acted completely different than this one. I told my wife were trying a different tang if this one passes.

I had an orange shoulder that I loved, but she thought it was too plain.

Fresh water change and it's out and about. I saw it peck at a piece or 2 of brine. Here's a new video

We have always had issues with our foxface being aggressive towards any new bigger fish, but never anything major. I wonder if that is what the culprit is. At the very end of the video you can see what the foxface keeps doing.
