If you can find a couple Mexican turbo’s they’ll demolish the HA in no time but no more hermit snacks!
I can’t find Turbos anywhere locally since the Pandemic started. May just be coincidence. I have been asking. They have done great for me in the past for GHA clearing it usually before the crabs eat them. Not worth the shipping price to just order snails.

Well another busy day today. Got some new livestock in. Three Rock Flower Anemones and a Sympodium coral from saltcritters.com. Not my best pictures, but here we go...

The shipment came early which was nice. Thanks FedEx! Packaging was excellent and everything looked good even in their containers. After a temperature acclimation everything went right in.

I went to bed (work nights, remember) and I woke up after the whites were down. Still got a couple of decent images under blues. All specimens looked great!

All in all an excellent experience. Very happy with everything in the tank right now.

But wait, there is more!

Took a ton of pictures tonight. Not my best, but I am going to share them anyway. First off you may notice above in the FTS, the right side looks slightly different. I knocked the anemone rock over again and had to rescape. I made a lot of room in that area which worked out great for placing the new RFAs. You will also see the anemone rock is now pointing toward the right instead of the left. I really liked the other way how the shape flowed with the left structure. Now though, I feel like it is opening up and kind of a more welcoming look.

You may also notice the clone anemone is now sticking out the top of the rock in a couple of places. I assume it came out after resuming normal lights.

That image looks like two anemones, but from the side, it still looks like it is just one. I cannot be certain if it split or not. It is too deep in the rock.

I am loving all of the color now along the front and right of the tank.

The mushroom is looking big as ever.

Clowns mostly stay around the clone anemone on the left, but still stop by the original once and a while.

As I said, I am very happy and loving the tank after the cleaning and the new additions. I was so happy that I actually ordered a couple of additional CUC members and invertebrates for next week. LOL, I guess I have a problem.

I love the rfa
Me too! I was saying earlier I cannot believe I waited so long to try them. RFAs are the seventh type of anemone I have owned (counting Aiptasia and Mojanos, LOL!).

I don’t really think Aiptasia can really be classified as an Anenome... More like vicious soul sucking devils... the Red heads of the sea ;Smuggrin:p;Hilarious

First, the clone anemone. It was really popping out of the rocks today.
CC868007-19EB-42F5-BA20-4974614BE805.jpeg

Today I was more certain it split. The back part has a mouth, but the front part I still cannot tell.

From the side it looked like two distinct feet today.

90% sure it split. That would be my fourth anemone after starting with one. I know the insides of this rock though and I have no doubt an anemone could writhe and twist itself in a most unusual way.
