Your parameters look good, just keep doing what your doing.
The algae growth is normal. The rock is looking good.
Your corals look happy, zoas can do weird things, I wouldn't be concerned.
Overall I really like your tank.

Totally normal ugly phases to see around the 5 month mark. Maybe some brown hair algae next, then maybe some fuzzy brown, then some green hair algae. Your biome is going to bounce around a bit through the first 12 months. Totally normal, just let it grow up and "settle down".

Nice Christoffer.

Noticed you've placed both gonioporas closed to eachother on the rocks. They are both encrusting - vill cover the rock - and will burn eachother..

I was not aware of this! Thank you! I’m still trying to figure out this coral warfare thing. So far so good with the small frags i have. Maybe things will go differently when they start to grow more?

Tank turned 10 months a couple of days ago and i remembered there was a long time since my last pot here. So i thought it was about time for some update on my waterbox 45.2

As you may have read already i have had a few struggles with this tank. But boy has these lat 3-4-5 months been almost hassle free. I feel specially now the tank has settled down. Coral looks happy, and id i have a swing in parameters they sont seem to mind.

I think one of my biggest mistake with this tanks so far, was the late start with RODI water and the late start of a dosing pump. As of january 6th i started dailing it in and now 3 months later i notice good coral growth on almost every coral. Alk dosent swing much other then if i do a 15% water change as i usually do every sunday for nutrient control. Ca and Mg have started to be taken up more so i have upped the dosage on those. I use ATI essentials 3 part on this tank.

I have tried a few diffenrent types of sps but for whatever reason they havent been soing well. Except my caliendrum, stylophora and seriatoporas.

I can also mention i have upgraded to a new system. Still cycling. Not sure if i will do another build thread on that tank, but i can talk abit about it here for the people who might be interested.

Here the equipment list of my new waterbox marine x 90.3:

- Lighting: Ecotech xr15 pro x2

- Flow: AI Nero 3 x2

- Return: Ecotech vectra s1

- Skimmer: Deltec 600i

Thats all i can remebmer from the top of my mind. Please let me know if you have any questions :)
