I fight algae with algae, LOL. I have a lot of ornamental macroalgae to out compete the micro nuisance algae and it works pretty well on everything except film algae. My magnet cleaner takes care of that.

Bacteria driven,”dose bacteria and food source” so no algae! Clean the glass every other day about 3min and empty skimmer once week.. besides that nothing! Tank takes care of itself.

Would you care to go into more detail of which bacteria and food you use?

Personally my answer is I don't. I like to keep algae patches for things to graze on. If they get too long I pull, but grit, grime, and algae make up a pretty large portion of a lot of natural coral reefs and their surrounding area

I feel like many of us on here strive for a nice clean, mostly algae free tank. I am wondering how are you achieving that? Do you dose certain chemicals regularly, keep a well stocked cuc, or do regular maintenance on your tank. Curious to see what everyone says!
All of the above.

Solid CUC that helps reduce constant algal growth, carbon dosing with vodka for nutrient management, and manual cleaning of glass (and occasionally rocks) to minimize problematic algae.

CUC plus three cleaner shrimp, one arrow crab. Snails keep most of the algae in check and clean only the front glass. ( snails do the other three sides)
