Not heard of these, do they last longer than the steel bladed or work better?
I have a video somewhere of me scraping a weeks worth of algae off my 300g. It is well worth it just for the time saved. The video is buried under a years worth of other videos, no promises but I'll see if I can track it down.

I've had the upgraded scrapers for a little longer than a year and have replaced the blades once so far. When they start to sgow signs of streaks, I just replace the ceramic blades themselves. There's a link for those on the site too.

Do you have a link?

I recommend this as well. It is awesome.
How long have you had them? Have you had to swap out the blades yet?

I also use the 4D ceramic scraper with my Tunze. It works really well for the stuff that the plastic scraper cannot get off.

I've been using mine for a year and a half and haven't had to replace the blades.

Honestly, a rag and some elbow grease on water change day. The magnets are pretty good but there’s always corners they can’t get, as well as the back glass. And the spots close to the sand, since you risk picking up sand and scratching the glass. With so many variables you can’t control, I like to at least have clean glass XD

The Fliiper, medium size is the GOAT for my 40GB. It has one side for regular soft glass cleaning, then you flip it for the Razor Blade side. It perfect!!

I have a nano at 24" so I can get by with a small magnetic glass scrubber every couple days. I'll go over the stubborn areas, corners, and edges of sandbed with a razor on a telescopic holder once a week before doing a water change.

Own design, pump holder plus stainless steel pad, easy like an algae magnet, effective as a blade.

I end up not cleaning mine often enough, so when I do it comes in the form of tried and true razer blades.

Tunze Care Magnet is by far the safest and easiest, even with the metal blade there is almost no chance of scratching the glass. Also use an old Aquamedic Mega Mag with a thin sheet of magic eraser every now and then if the lanthanum filter sock overflowed and there are white precipitate on the glass, the Tunze does not take that off.

I was away from my tank for close to a month, so a lot of algae had grown on the glass when I came back. I started using the standard plastic blades, and after 10 minutes, I was only able to a small patch clean. I gave up. Ordered the new blades, and I cleaned the whole tank glass in 10 minutes. My new favorite thing to do is cleaning glass now because it is so satisfying and quick.
