Whether we are getting a new tank or new live stock, we try our best to prepare our tanks for the latest changes. I am wondering if you are preparing your tank/setup for something new. Photo Credit: @Jack Ravensbergen

Those are some nice lights! Do you have an idea of how you want to mount them?
Central over flow is too big to mount to tank or stand so either wall mount behind the tank or ceiling. Problem with ceiling is the tank isn’t centered between the joists above

I’m looking to install a co2 scrubber for stable and higher PH. Also looking to make the jump Away from t5 lights and join the led madness. Orphek and ATI Stratons are on my list of possibilities

I am a planner by nature. Also a worrier. So with my next build I'm gonna have redundancy. A Fleece Roller and a Skimmer, 2 heaters, 2 returns, a battery backup, a generator on standby, the best equipment I can get and a tank from Glass Cages with as many protective options I can have added to it. I'll have an algae scrubber and an air hose to the outside attached to the skimmer. Also, redoing my floors in tile and having said flooring braced from below in the crawlspace. All plumbing will be able to be taken apart and modified at the drop of a hat. The sump will be a roll-out from the side door with hardware still intact. Planning for situational changes is key to success IMO. Now......I may be going overboard along these lines. But that's OK.

Hi,
Preparing no , tank is filled up full with sps/lps , it's more taking coral out and replacing them for something new.
Positive is that the corals i take out have grown that big that the price i sell them for is enough to put something new instead of them.

I am setting up a 150g, it's only half filled with my fish at this point, no sump running, need to finish the sump/plumbing and get the new orphek lights over it once they come in.

Just hoping everything goes smoothly. The original 80g seam was failing so they were all crammed in a 40B with all my corals and I wanted to get them out ASAP which meant the sump part never got finished before they went in.

i cant think
