There are times when we can be frustrated with our tanks. Maybe it is an algae outbreak that will not go away, equipment issues, or a fish that is simply not doing well in your tank. I want to know what caused you the most frustration in your tank and how you overcame it.

My multiple coral die offs with no traceable cause. I was so frustrated and overwhelmed trying to figure out the reason. Finally had to call it quits and tear the tank down. To this day still dont know the cause

Ick with my first clown fish, that hurt. I got very emotionally attached

I overcame it by obsessively quarantining and water changes. I don’t do quite as much of either now. I also haven’t added a new fish in 3 months ish

For me the fear of algae! There are so many threads of people that just can’t get it under control and it becomes the demise of their tank. I am so afraid of this “possibility” that it can throw me into panic mode when I see any in the tank.

HAVE YOU EVER KEPT A RARE/UNCOMMON FISH, CORAL, OR INVERT? SHOW IT OFF IN THE THREAD!
