About time to frag the birdsnest again, it’s partially shading the green slimer frag that’s growing great up there.

Totally not reef related. But my wife and I have been rewatching “The Office”, lol man that show is great. We are near the end, once the character Robert California is the CEO, he has some hilarious quotes... I found this one particularly funny tonight lol.

What size jebao did you put on the 40 again? And is it big enough or would you go one size bigger if you were to do it again?
Going to order my pump next month then set it all up.

Dct6000, it’s plenty strong. I have mine going through 1 inch plumbing too. If it was going through smaller it would be like hot tub jets, lol.

Thank you!! :)

Haha... I'm starting to think coral reef recovery wouldn't be impossible if people would just buckle down. I have one acan that has looked dead three times now, and is showing life again and my monti's are improving a ton! And if our tanks can survive being cooked alive, surely the oceans can too? *fingers crossed*

I agree! Let’s start a non profit! Spreading our hobby knowledge to real world applications; I’m sure @tdlawdo would be down. Lol. We could write off some pretty epic trips to Tahiti :)

I had several SPS bleach about two months ago (long story, see my thread). Left them in, but assumed all were goners. The first one to go was a valida and it was completely white. This was the same coral this morning

That's crazy. I've had a few actually die. (1) I had some cloves that literally just disappeared overnight... No clue if something ate them, or if the died, because they looked great the day before, and were non existent the next day. (2) A ricordia that was bleaching, but I just thought was pretty. Someone posted a "beautiful" ricordia on facebook the other day that looked just like mine, he was super surprised when people started telling him it was dieing, so at least I'm not the only one on that. (3) A acan that got damaged in shipping and (4) a torch that got damaged in the same shipping... the mail truck got in an accident, so not a major shocker. (5) A zoa that was one polyp and released off the plug not long after I put it in the tank.

But I've had 3 times that many that have looked dead and came back.

Now that would be a great career change! I bet if we could add some coral gurus like that of dana riddle, we'd be doing REALLY well.

HAHA! I love how willing we are all for this idea. I've seen where they've tied acropora to pvc to get it growing. I wonder how many reefers participate in rejuvenation projects.

I'm sure I can connect it to some public education initiative... Don't they like collabs for grants?

You guys are too late. I have a friend already doing it. Btw...the harvesting practices of years ago (like 1975) may actually be what saves some things. Pieces are being collected globally from hobbyist for just what you guys are talking about. :)
