Looks like some type of sea hareFound this creature, slithering around the tank today. Hard to get a good picture as it's brown/dark red, similar to the rocks. It's got 4 antennae on it's head. Kind of a blob, but can stretch out to get from one rock to the next. Doesn't seem to hurting anything. Brushed up against some SPS and Zoa's and didn't seem to have an effect. Seems to be looking for food. I guess a nudibranch of some sort.
First picture shows it stretching between 2 stags. Next picture, you can see its head right in the middle of the pic.
Ok, I know most are not as interrested in thy tiny sandbed fauna as I. But Im having trouble with this one. So I figured it didn't hurt to ask. I can usually find my answers through google. I've searched this one for two days and can't find it. There are two seperate vids of this worm. The first was taken on 8-7-15. The second 8-11-15. Strange because the worm is definitly the same one in the same place and moves exactly the same but it looks completely different 4 days apart. Any help would be appreciated. I assure you I look these tiny guys up often and it is not your usual subjects. I.e. bristle, penut, fire, spaghetti.
Its a Ball Anemone-I've been trying to find what this guy is. It was a hitchiker on a peice of liverock and its growing rapidly and also others are popping up like crazy. Anyone have an idea?
Ok. Any special concerns or care requirements other than feeding for filter feeders? Both look like mussels to me
Mine are both the same. Never realized I had it till a few months ago. Cool creature and good filter feeder, I'm sure it helps contribute to a cleaner system in some regards, rightI have one of those imbedded in a zoa colony; I've done nothing specific and figured it would die off at some point; that was 2 years ago and it is still alive and well!
Both stomatellas. Love the yellow. CoolI need help confirming ID on these two hitchhikers. I'm thinking the one on the Glass in a Stomatella while the one on the rock on not sure between an abalone or Stomatella since it's pretty small.
Thank You!!Both stomatellas. Love the yellow. Cool
