Inspecting my order from AquaSD and in one of the bags is an itty bitty starfish ... looks like a brittle, but I can't tell for sure. It has a dark brown circle at its center

My sump and fuge have these. They are micro brittles. Seem to scavenge and don't bother anything. I have frags in the sump. No worries:)

I have lots of these in my sump, and they congregate around areas with low flow (detritus build up). I also get them a lot in my chaeto as well.

Does anyone know what this starfish is and if it is reef-safe or not?

These came in on some GMP rock out of the Indo Pacific .
I thought they were Chiton's are first but they clamp on real tight to any surface . Scratching my head now . They also have little paddle's on their tails. I have seen them swimming using the vortech flow before they latch on to where they want to go .
I cleaned my return pump and have one in a container for id .
It even sat on it's okole checking me out when I took the pic .
Haven't seen them harm anything yet but would love an ID .

Noticed the little critter in my sump. Same locomotion as a Millipede with numerous little legs moving. 1/2" long x 1/16" wide or smaller. Any idea?
**UPDATE*
FOR REFERENCE: Found it to be a Polychaete - Dorvilleidae. Small bristleworm.

Any idea what these two things are. They look like a coiled cobra to me, albeit very tiny ones. Thanks in advance.

Those are the start of sea sponges, i have a few of them, bright yellow. Good filter feeders. I don't know how big they can get, a have one the size of a pingpong ball amd some smaller ones. Don't seem to bother anything.

Looks like vermetid snails they put out a slimy string when food or sand stirred up in the water and they will multiply quickly and they suck you have to smash the base and tube completely or cover the hole with super glue to kill them or there will be thousands in the tank

Hmm.. That made me doubt. It could well be vermitid from what i see on google, but it also does look very similar to the starting stage of a sponge. I will post some pics tomorrow when my lights turn back on.

Sponges typically grow in the lower light areas from what I seen but I also don't know everything
