Very difficult! Manual removal via tweezers or putting a drop of Superglue Gel on them. They feed from the water column so keeping food down to a minimum helps. Very tenacious little buggers.
Darn. I was hoping for a biological control. I started covering them with that 2part epoxy. The super glue I can't get in the holes of the rock with any proficiency.

Thanks again for your help.

First does look like a colonista. Good.
Second I'm not so sure is a bristle. Looks like it has "whiskers" or antenie of some time on the head. Could just be the pic. Can you get a better one?

Hmmm......looks similar to what i have in my tank (sorry am not sure what it is either). Is it clear when the day light is on, you find them in darker places, and they light up green/blue in blue lighting? I found one and since have found 4-5 more. Will post pic tomorrow when I get home but think it's some sort of anemone. Has been harmless thus far for me

Ok, I know most are not as interrested in thy tiny sandbed fauna as I. But Im having trouble with this one. So I figured it didn't hurt to ask. I can usually find my answers through google. I've searched this one for two days and can't find it. There are two seperate vids of this worm. The first was taken on 8-7-15. The second 8-11-15. Strange because the worm is definitly the same one in the same place and moves exactly the same but it looks completely different 4 days apart. Any help would be appreciated. I assure you I look these tiny guys up often and it is not your usual subjects. I.e. bristle, penut, fire, spaghetti.

I've noticed this little clam attached on a piece of roch that has been in my dt for about 6 months. The part where the clam is sitting, used to be in the sandbed so i am quite confused as to where it came from.
I just noticed it about 3 weeks ago as a fish swam by is and it closed. It does grow, i'd guess the shell grew about 2mm in the 9 last days i was away from home.
It looks kinda deformed but has a nice oily kind of pink green shimmering on the older part of its clam.
Wondering if anyone knows what it is and if it has potential to stay alive and grow bigger.

Thanks a lot!

Does this guy hide in little holes in the rocks with its whiskers poking out and dart out when anything passes close to it? If not does anyone have an idea of the critter I'm talking about? Looks close to this but I cant get a good pic cause its always in its hole and moves too fast to snap a pic or vid.

I havnt noticed that behavior although It does kind of resemble the body structure. I believe your referring to a bobbit worm

Found this creature, slithering around the tank today. Hard to get a good picture as it's brown/dark red, similar to the rocks. It's got 4 antennae on it's head. Kind of a blob, but can stretch out to get from one rock to the next. Doesn't seem to hurting anything. Brushed up against some SPS and Zoa's and didn't seem to have an effect. Seems to be looking for food. I guess a nudibranch of some sort.

First picture shows it stretching between 2 stags. Next picture, you can see its head right in the middle of the pic.
