Gorgonia Ventalina (Sea Fan) brown tips?

Hi guys,

My Ventalina, was stung several times from a BTA because they were pretty close and it's started to developed brown tips.

After I moved it, the "browness" is expanding more and more. Can this be related to the BTA sting or it's an infection?

The coral anyway shows great polyps extensions an apart the tips, all the rest look fine. Should I trim with a scissor the brown tips?
