Wouldn’t it be nice to have more personalized numbers per acro. The 250-400 range is not the case all of them. I had a strawberry shortcake that was sitting at 350 par and evaporated.. for those I think the recommendation should be 200-250.A warning would be nice with sticks that perfer less par

If using bayer....the after dip rinse needs to be more involved than other dips FYI. Nothing to be worried about but Make sure to rinse well.
For the record, do not mix bleach and muriatic acid. It makes phosphorus (mustard) gas and would kill not only the corals, but potentially you as well. DO NOT DO THISI've found that a mixture of bleach and muriatic acid will kill 99.9% of pests

Agreed. two tubs, both with powerheads. One for the Bayer, and one for the rinse. Keep in mind, most dips aren't going to 360 no-scope the pests, but rather, stun them. The rinse isn't just about rinsing off the dip so that it doesn't get into your tank. You're also rinsing off pests.

Yeah, give me a minute to write that one up. I think I wrote a long article about it on my local forum MARSH, but it's been a while and I don't know where it's at. It would take me a good 30-60 minutes to properly explain it with sources to help understand the situation.
