Update:

Performed a 20 gallon water change this evening so i didn't have to do one tomorrow. Got a appointment for a oil change for my car and I plan on cleaning up the fish room/discarding unused "stuff". Basically organizing all my stuff down there. It's needed.

Tank looked good this evening before lights out. New corals look very happy. I did see a aiptasia, so that's getting nuked tomorrow as well.

Looks sharp. Never seen a pink hammer.

LSF had a lot of them in different tanks. They had some large colonies, four five heads and some small colonies. All the same color. A local hobbyist had a ton of them and had broke down the tank and sold them to the LSF.

The one I got is small, but has a pretty cool color. Pictures don't give it justice.

I was eyeing those...I got two wrasses instead! I need more nutrients so fish (mostly) won over coral this time. I did find a cool purple and orange pectinia though & had to take that with me ;Shy

I have 2 versions of bonsai. The garf is quite different from this one.

Definitely different.

They were a lot smaller than I expected, but I made the trip so I got one. The larger colonies were stunning but very pricey $200+.

Nice. I had to wait for the lights to come on, but here's a garf from John over at @YourReef .

Its about 14 inches back in the tank, tough to capture with a cell phone.

200 is a lot for a colony. How big were they? Where the pics bud? :p

I didn't take any pictures of the large colonies, but guessing four to five heads around 6"-8" in diameter. The one I have is definitely 1 1/2". Babies.
