Another full day reefing, moved the remainder of the fish, inverts amd the remaining lps and clam over to the elos! All sps got dipped and will be inspecting and dipping for the next few weeks to make sure the final move goes smooth!

Thanks! I need to finish my equipment chamber and move the apex over and tidy up the disaster of wire. Finally installed the skimmer as well. Once the sps get the ok I'll be happy!

Whew it's been almost a year long build! Last 4 months have went amazingly smooth :::knock on wood::: just need to setup a doser and start and get it dialed in!

Late night but finally busted out the cannon and played with the settings and thanks to the misses got it nearly dialed in!

Somewhat productive weekend. Finally buttoned up some misc projects I hadn't had the time for.
I've been burning through di so I went to a 3 stage and cleaned up the mounting a bit.

Sump is nearly done!

And added a small pentair uv sterilizer I know its undersized but got it from a buddy to try... wow it clears the water!

Cleaned my garage out on Saturday with my brother in law. Got my 2x4 and 2x6s. Just need to actually start building it!

That's it atleast you've got it there so you can build at your leisure. Toughest part for me is having everything ready to go

Yeah. I'm terrible at trimming and staining so I'm just hoping it turns out serviceable.

Ahhh just some practice... measure 11 times cut 2 or 3 just in case.. I'm not the best with stain but I've found the monac prestain really helps provide an even coat

Still havnt figured out to show the color on this torch. Has a golden/orange color but cant capture it.

Slowly knocking a few items off the list and getting it wrapped up.
Installed the temporary dosing pump and containers, plan on eventually moving to a calcium reactor once i can afford it.

Full shot of the sump still have to make an electronics box and move over the apex system more to come

Lights about out wrapping up, think those led sump lights are bright enough?

an interesting frag i picked up with some serious potential'

trying out some techniques and tweaking the settings on the cannon trying to get it right. been scouring some videos and writeups for photography. its certainly a art form!

2 month update!
Tanks settling in after 2 months since it was wet. Rock had been curing for about 10 months in the tub added new sand and saw minor algae and diatoms so far. Already see some steady coraline growth as well, still tuning the doser in as alk has stayed low in the 7.6 range plan to raise it slighty to 8.4.
I think i've for the most part dialed in the white balance on the cannon let me know your thoughts.
some comparison shots at the top added in some blue to compensate.
