Tank looks good, looking forward to seeing how it progresses through the year!
Thank You! Have started adding a few coral pieces very recently. Added a (I think) really nice neon hammer, a smaller different color hammer, some rhodactis mushrooms and just today a nice haul of zoa frags from R2R member LittleBigReef. I am letting them settle in before I put them in their final spots. Will send updated photos once everything is landed. Now I must exercise patience as the new additions grow in :(

Bit the bullet and started adding some pieces to my reef. Over the last several weeks have found some nice pieces at my local LFS and grabbed a nice haul of zoas frags from R2R member LittleBigReef. I highly recommend his frags if you are in the market. Some easy SPS and LPS, Mushrooms and twelve different strains of zoas were added.

Hoping they will fill into three nice zoa gardens on the left center and right sides of my display.
If you hadn't noticed by now - my photos are complete garbage. Nevertheless, I will post photos of the new stock - just for historical record of what was added in the beginning of this reef.

As for husbandry, I am currently switching from Red Sea Blue Bucket to IO Reef Crystals - simply because of cost. Also bit the bullet and purchased Red Sea Foundations and Algae control test kits - so I am testing for No3 Po4 Ca Alk and Mag - numbers for Ca Alk and Mag seem a bit low, but they are stable with Ca at 370, Alk at 8.2 and Mag at 1260. Will work to bring those up slowly using C Balance A&B from Two Little Fishies and using slightly higher salinity on my weekly water changes with the IORC.

Have been busy just getting and keeping things stable. Current FTS taken today. Things growing in pretty well. Trying out
FTS 72723.jpg
Reef Plus AB to see if it bumps the colors up a notch. Have a tad more room, but waiting for some higher end zoas...now that I know I can keep and grow them fairly well.
