Anemones are one of my favorite things to see in tanks. I love the way they look and how they interact with the tank as a whole. My question is what is your personal favorite anemone that is in your tank.

I have both a BTA and RFA:

I love both, but considering my RFA stays put and doesn’t split every few weeks, I’m going to have say it’s my favorite nem.

This RFA is my favorite out of the ~100 or so I have at the moment. I have bigger and prettier ones, but he’s been my favorite for a little while because of the incredible change in colors that’s been occurring over the last year. It’s made the little guy captivating to me. Such cool little creatures.

Here is a photo from summer 2022:

And here he is a few days ago eating some shrimp:

I love the way they look and if I can get one to host my clowns I’m sure it would be super fun to observe and learn about it.

i just heard anemones are hard to keep cause their movement.

are there mitigation methods? I have a 20 and love the look but fear for their lives.

you just need a pretty empty and established tank. And make sure the spot with the most light is empty, they'll most likely go there. Though anemones have their own minds so don't take what I say fully. also, they do split so remove the splits once they start moving and you can sell them!
