Boom!

I was curious how long it would take me to fill a frag rack last night so I put down 54 plugs and dabbed glue and went to work.

For some reason I do not think I can afford that 54 frag pack?
I'm thinking the same thing, so I was going to ask if he offers special financing. I'm sure the wife will approve.

You guys! Easy solution… you’re both in San Antonio. 27 frag pack… everybody wins!

Yea if it was five+ years ago and the 27 frags matched the $25 frags you use to sell me at the time sure, but I doubt those are $25 unless you are having a anniversary sale?

I'm terrible at fragging. Mostly because I'm clumsy and end up breaking several corals I didn't intend to frag. Trying to frag 5-6 stresses me out.

Do you leave all of the frags out of water during the process or what?

Actually, it was the first time I tried it this way. I started like the picture, putting all the plugs in place and then adding the drops of glue and letting them set just a bit while I fragged.

I went through and fragged all the pieces and trimmed the bottoms so they were all flat so it made better contact with the plug and glue when I placed it on there. Here’s the funny part… imagine some crazy reefer in the wee hours of the night grabbing and stuffing frags on their plugs as fast as he can so that the first set of plugs wouldn’t dry out too much before I got the last ones in place and settled before plunking that whole tray back in the water.

I think 54 frags all at once is probably a bit much to do unless you’re the flash. I’ll probably do half a tray at a time the next go around. But judging by how the tray looks today, I didn’t do half bad on deeper inspection.
