I was going to sand and refinish a whole side of the glass tank yesterday but I got home super late but I went ahead and tried the new pads I got on a small area. At first I freaked out when I used the rough pad as it turned my glass white but I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Luckily did the test on a side that would be less noticeable. Did the rough, then medium then fine. The fine left it pretty hazy but the polish cleared it up.
Blue circle toward the edge of the picture shows how the glass looked after the fine pad was used. and the red is what the glass ended up looking after the polish. I am not big on promoting products but this worked great. The glass area that I tested had a pretty deep scratch in it (red circle). This process took it out completely. I can't wait to do the rest of the tank. There is one area in the front of the tank which is where it looks like the had an animal clawing at the glass. I am going to document this step by step to show how good this works. I'll keep you posted.
