Sorry—I can’t edit my last post!
I upgraded to a larger tank, and need to find a home for this setup. It’s a 40 gallon breeder with 20 gallon sump, diy stand and hood, with lighting and ATO system available as well. I am willing to part out. Here’s the details:
Tank: 40 gallon Aqueon breeder, black wall painted black, rear centered overflow, two 3/4” bulkheads in the bottom glass
Sump: 20 gallon Aqueon tank, diy return pump chamber
Stand & hood: I built these myself following the construction in the Reef Builders video below (see the link). It’s absolutely solid and in great shape. I mounted two cabinets on the sides to house controllers, etc. The paint is white marine enamel and is in great shape. There is no water damage anywhere. The hood is cut to work with the lights I’ve been using, and includes a 4” Reef Octopus cooling fan installed.
Lights: Quanta Pro LED bars: 2 x 36” ReefCrest Daylight bars and 1 x 36” Meso Blue bar. I love the spectrum produced by this combo and was very successful keeping montiporas, stylophoras, pocilloporas, zoas, and other corals. The product web page is at www.quantareef.com
ATO system: IceCap ATO EZ Automatic, used for 2 months, in perfect condition with original box and new tubing.
The tank, sump, stand, and hood are available for $75. I’m asking $50 for the ATO, $200 for the lights, or the entire system for $300. I’m in the Madison, AL area and would be happy to show everything in person at my home. Pictures are provided below, and more are available on request. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy reefing!
