We should talk. I built one of these and use it on my nano tank. I use existing components and API from 3rd party products.Jashemash!
This is Borat again - showing off superior Kazakh skills. Support this post with your likes - I will appreciate the attention.
On a path to more complex devices, I have already built these:
DIY light bar
DIY Light Bar 100W 100cm, 3 channels, PWM Dimming, Temperature Control, Active Cooling
Hello fellas, it's me again.. I am back with my new DIY project! During normal times I would spend my energy playing badminton at least once a week (I am a B+ player) and sea/river fishing that I enjoy a lot.. Now with the lockdown and winter - none of the 2 activities are possible.. So I try...www.ultimatereef.net
DIY Calcium Reactor
Project CaRx: DIY Calcium Reactor + DIY Controller + DIY Peristaltic Pump + DIY ALK Monitor
Hey folkes, 2 large DIY projects completed this year and now I am sitting idle.. What should I do next? The target for my tank is to slowly grow into an SPS dominant system. I already have 3 palm sized plating easy-going monties and have to dose about 100ml of alkainity solution daily (100mg...www.ultimatereef.net
DIY Alkalinity Monitor
Project AlKx : DIY Alkalinity Monitor + DIY Magnetic Stirrer
Hello fellow reefers.. Following a number of successful projects this year: - DIY light bar (https://www.ultimatereef.net/threads/diy-light-bar-100w-100cm-3-channels-pwm-dimming-temperature-control-active-cooling.890640/) - Calcium reactor...www.ultimatereef.net
DIY Peristaltic Pump
DIY Peristaltic Pump: Cultural Teachings of Glorious Nation of Kazakistan
A warm hello from a friendly nation of Kazakistan to friendly reefers from US&A! In this thread I am going to show a step-by-step guide on how to make a DIY peristaltic pump (similar to Kamoer FX-STP pump). I have already built such pump for my DIY calcium reactor and it's been working hard...www.reef2reef.com
DIY Kalk Reactor
DIY Pressurised Kalk Reactor/Stirrer
Jagshemash! Warm greetings from the best country in the world (Kazakistan)! In this threead I am going to show you some more advanced Kazakistan technologies: Kalk reactor! To be very honest I have very little understanding of how a kalk reactor works, other than reading about it and hearing...www.reef2reef.com
Now is the time to build a robotic tester similar to MasterTronic...
Follow this thread - it will be very interesting!
Good choice. Lots of folks use them but do be aware that the Expressif chipsets may only be 2.4ghz wireless N and will impact some wireless routers/ap combos that do not switch bands well.
This reminds of an older project from a few years ago that a guy in California did. It uses a cylinder with refillable syringes for the reagents. It's not the one made from Lego EV and Mindstorm kits though, but similar to this one.
This is cool. Are you running this off 5v or 12v?
The board is powered by a 12v 5AMP PSU (meanwell). Some components required 12v (peristaltic pumps, fans), some other 5v (micocontroller, LCD, etc)... The board has a 3 pin place where a 12v->5v voltage regulator will be soldered. Therefore throughout the board layout there are wires with 12v and 5v sharing common ground..This is cool. Each of these for testing separately?
Makes sense. I had that issue too with PWM and what not.The board is powered by a 12v 5AMP PSU (meanwell). Thats kinda sad...
I have been a bit busy recently - specifically I was building a garden office which will be my workshop as well..Hello Borat. how is the project going? are you going to share all the complete project? I built AutoTester of robogardens.com but unfortunately the project has some problems, I managed to fix some problems, AutoTester works via camera for raspberry, and for colometric test control with OpenCv. your project is very interesting and i would like to build it.
Me2 I had to settle for an alkatronic because the wait time for the boratronic was to long!! But I could always still use oneIt is a sign of destiny. I keep following the post, let's hear when you're organised. Thanks
Nice @Borat I love the workshop area!I have been a bit busy recently - specifically I was building a garden office which will be my workshop as well..
I have finished building the workbench about an hour ago (funny you ask one the same day!) - I will resume the project in the next week or so (still need to organise everything and move rubbish out)..
Cheers,
Borat.
