DAILY QUESTION: What are your favorite resources for learning about coral care?
R2R. I occasionally look at other sites like Tidal Gardens, but most info I glean from R2R and some from locals that I chat with.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you keep track of your coral growth progress?
I regularly post a "Then and Now" post in my build thread where I compare an old picture of a coral with a new picture. Bit of a pat on the back.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you deal with coral warfare and chemical interactions?
Carbon in a little media bag changed out every 2-4 weeks. Goal is 2 weeks, unacceptable is after 4 weeks (then the leathers start to suffer).

DAILY QUESTION: What is your approach to coral reef aquascaping?
I use TBS gulf live rock. As frustrating as it is to cement in tank water, I manage to get things more or less sorted the way I like using the rocks and let them dictate how they will be stacked/cemented. For the rest of my aquascape, I use old Marshall Islands and Fiji reef rocks that have been dried out, and I cement them together to my liking before putting them in.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you prevent and handle coral RTN (Rapid Tissue Necrosis)?
When I see corals suffering like that, I immediately start dosing Fiji Mud (Aquaforest Life Source now). Seems to help.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you incorporate coral frag racks or mounts into your tank setup?
I don't anymore unless I have to. Snails carried sand inbetween the frag racks and I ended up scratching the glass when moving the rack.

DAILY QUESTION: What advice would you give to a new coral grower starting out in the hobby?
Keep it as simple as possible. Use the best live rock you can source. Fill up the space with coral and let the coral manage nutrients, not you.

DAILY QUESTION: What role do macroalgae play in your coral growth strategy?
They were a prominent feature in the display until I Fluxed the tank for rampant bubble algae. They will be used in a display refugium in the upgrade with the purpose of soaking up a few nutrients and feeding the herbivores.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you manage and automate your tank maintenance routine?
I still manually deal with cleaning the glass, but otherwise let the devices manage heating/cooling, wifi devices for on/off of the Plank/refrigerated food doser, and anything else. Shame there isn't a way to automate Aiptasia control...

DAILY QUESTION: How do you handle coral rescues or rehabilitations?
Depends on what the problem is. Usually I leave them be. If it's too much light I lower then, too much or not enough flow I move then, coral warfare I move the least favorite one...

DAILY QUESTION: How do you handle coral rescues or rehabilitations?
By first trying to diagnose their ailment(s), dipping, getting them into a stable environment, then observing and applying any follow-up treatments to help them heal.

Bonus, I handle rehabilitations by trying to give the coral what it wants. Be it flow or light or food or medication.
