I ordered the water test today. So as soon as it arrives, I will do three tests with the Hanna checker, take an average, then send out sample for comparison.

Keep an eye on the Marinepure. I had a block of it in a QT with copper and meds and had a tremendous bacterial bloom and the Marinepure turned into a big green blob. I think it was due to the low flow through the block. Now I use Biomax in my HOB. Zero copper absorbtion and zero ammonia. Humblefish has had similar results with Seachem Matrix working well.

Yes, thanks for the heads up, Big G. I have two Marine Pure blocks in my sump keeping my 180gal cycled during the copper treatment. I water change about 30 gal a week. So far, no bloom. I'll keep watch more closely now, though. ;Watching

Update on my QT:

Tested last night. 1.72ppm
Fish are all still happy.
Glad I will have my reagents on Wednesday so I can resume daily testing.
I am still encountering slight absorption. But very easy to monitor and add an ml here or there to keep it as close to 1.75ppm as possible.

so wait, on the hanna website the reagents dont say out of stock or backordered, is that incorrect?

Correct, they don't show stock status. If you order and they are backordered, you will get an email, within a few days notifying you of the status.

Which as far as I know, they are still backordered. Seems like about 3 weeks out, for now.

Yep got an email today from Hanna stating one or more of the items I ordered on Monday is on back order. BUMMER!
Too much demand suddenly! They’re tooling up, it just doesn’t happen overnight! :)

I emailed the Chicago rep for my order status yesterday and haven't gotten a reply. Last week he had said the backorder was a week, but I wasn't holding my breath on that. My next order of fish can go through CP. I'll hold off on wrasses until my order is shipped.

^^^ Side note, part of me is upset that he’s not eating with his mouth closed

Edit: Brew and I posted at the same time. He probably eats with his mouth open, too.
