Just as an example - it took me more than a month to increase the blues intensity from 25% to 40%.

It was 10% every week. Always changed after lights shut off so it would do it the following day. So like if it was at 60% at 10 am I change it 70% and then I waited a week to do it again..The ramping up/down isn't the issue here. My concern is how quickly you moved from a baseline 60% up to your final 100% resting place. And by that I don't mean during each day. I mean from an acclimation standpoint.
Can't be cooper cause shrimp and cuc are all still alive.. no on stay voltage and no magnets are exposed..At one point, the previous owner had an ich out break in that tank, which among other things led him to sell it, he did indeed medicate the fish...a triton test would definitely tell you if something foreign was leeching from somewhere.
Also, have you checked out for stray voltage?
Checked all the magnets on equipment etc to make sure there not exposed?
I've no experience with that particular light, but cutting it back and giving the scolys some shade won't hurt anything. .02
Ok I'll try that. Thanks..I maxed out at 60% blues and 20% full spectrum.
10" off the water surface. But I am just going to ride it at 60/20 till I can unload live stock and then call it a lesson learned.. I feel that everyone gets upset cause I have the desire to keep sps..How high of the water are your lights? That's going to have a lot to do with your end %'s
