Thanks buddy! I haven’t had a working ph probe in years so I figured I’d ask as I just tossed one on haha. 8.1 right now so that’s nice to know it’s not all goofed.
Having a ph probe can be good and bad. When mine was low it drove me crazy and at times I wish I didn't know. I try to calibrate all my probes once a month. My lfs told me they only buy the calibration solution because of me, lol.

The growth your getting these days is unreal. Seems like you just got that piece 6 months ago or so, can't remember for sure.
I would say growth use to be unreal, lol. I remember I could cut a 1" frag off my Orange passion it would grow back in a month. I had bryopsis show up about 2 months ago and I dosed fluconazole to kill it (which it did) before it spread. The fluconazole didn't play very nice with me system but things are getting back to where they were.

That’s kind of how I felt. I’ve always been one to not chase and just pay attention to how things are doing. I had some algae start popping up because I opened all my stores back up for the spring and been slacking on the tank chores. With the stores / kid/ kid on the way It’s to forget things you should be doing with the tank. :(

Growth pattern is perfect. Nothing better than a piece we can keep our bone cutters off for an amount of time. Wish I could not cut anything in my display tank for a year straight.

The growth pattern on this one is really nice. I find the little nubs continued throughout while it tables pretty neat.

I am as impressed with your growth patterns as much as I am with the color! What are you using for flow?

All around gorgeous piece. Love the contrast of colors and growth pattern.
Thank you

I wish I could say I keep the bone cutters off it but you can see some cut spots and on the bottom where the white growth tips are is where I keep cutting frags off. The princess peach has to be one of the most requested corals I sell.

Thank you. I use the maxspect gyres on all my tanks. I have one on each side of the tank and they run in alternating mode.

Just to clarify. You run them in Alternating Gyre and on Anti-sync?

Yes. One blows forward for 2 minutes and turns off and the other turns on for 2 minutes and turns off. I don’t use the reverse flow as I felt it interfered with the gyre current.

Hey Bubba, what lighting is your Princess peach under. I have mine high up under Radions AB+ and B+ T-5 getting around 500 par, and the colors are not nearly as nice as yours...

The one in that pic is under an ati t5 fixture.

Are your colors more faded? I started to grow out a second colony under the same lights you are using but it seemed to be too much light as that colony doesn’t have near the color as the one in my display has.
