I’m wanting to share a coral my buddy @Fishfinder picked up as a browned out coral he found at a LFS and what it turned into. This is a full daylight pic so it’s not a coral that needs blue lights to look good. In my opinion it could be come of the nicest corals out there.

These are his phone pics.

He said this is about a month after having it.

And how it looks now.

I have all of these but they are not all equal size so maybe they will look different as they grow.

1.The hyperberry and Kenberry look very similar so far in my tank. I think I made a post somewhere about how similar they look but the Kenberry is still very small.

2.The secale and the bonsai look the same but I think it comes down to lineage. I am not sure how many have the true Garf bonsai anymore. If you are just looking for that color combination then just go with whatever is cheapest.

3.BBU, Rainbow loom and Paletta pink tip all look very different from each other. The BBU is top of my list of favorite corals. I keep buying more and more of it even though I already have a couple of them.

4. This one is kinda tough. I use to say the Acid trip and ASD Rainbow were different but I am not sure anymore. I use to think the Acid trip was much brighter than asd rainbow and would have bright yellow tips but now my ASD rainbow is probably the brightest coral I own and has yellow tips as well. The Schizopolis sunset is different and is basically just green and orange.

Thanks, Bubba. Any others that you can think of off the top of your head that could possibly be the same coral?

Also, a few pages back you listed your 5 favorites--any updates to the list? What about 5 brightest corals?

I think JF Jolt and TSA Rainbow Fusion are the same coral. If you look at both of their promotional pictures of it they look the same.

These are my favorite corals right now.
1. Mattv Psycho asylum. This has been my number 1 for a long time and not sure if anything will top this.

2. RRA Lady in pink. I had this one for a while and I wasn't sure the name. I bought it as Lady in pink but it never looked like the pics. I recently found out it's the RRA version

3. BC Bubble bath unicorn/PR Fruity pebbles. I can't get enough of this one. I keep buying frags of it even though I already have a couple.

4. JF Home wrecker. For those that have it and colored it up know how nice this coral is. I see a lot of people try and "hate" on this one but it's mainly from people who do not have it. This one is a stunner even in full day light.

5. Hung's Rainbow. If you like smooth skin acros it doesn't get better than this.

Lady in Pink and the Psycho asylum are 2 of my favorites as well. WWC is a very underrated rainbow tenuis, but it’s a fast grower and is beautiful once it starts to color up.

Can't wait to see what some of these chefs bring to Reefapalooza! See what they've been cooking! Of course I won't be there, so I'll just have to hope there's lots of pictures and posts!

you dont want the price tag for that pack
Yeah those specific corals cost a pretty penny but I have a lot of other stuff available much cheaper. Send me a message when you are ready.

@litenyaup your buddy fishfinder seems to be going with lots of high end stuff lately. Eventually probably more than me, lol
