Well that's good to hear. After @twilliard runs some tests,maybe he will be able to tell us if Fluconazole is actually killing the Bryopsis roots or if the meds are just lingering in our systems at high enough levels to inhibit the Bryopsis regrowth.

started reading thread last night after a buddy sent me a txt with a link. someone posted somewhere (too lazy to find it) that the price would probably go up. Product from payless was 30.99 for 30 caps. Finished reading thread this morning and ordered some. Price jumped overnight to 39.99 for 30 caps. Doesn't matter though , dead bryopsis is priceless!! Will post results with pics as well once treatment starts..

That's crazy, I ordered mine yesterday for 30.99. Guess I got my order in just in time. But like you said being bryopsis free is with the extra cost. I paid the small fee for the faster shipping and should have mine by tomorrow.

I got mine from Payless Pet Products... https://www.payless-petproducts.com/fluconazole200.html I didn't list a link in the opening post because you can order Fluconazole from where ever you would like to. Many online med sites have it available. PPP is not a sponsor here at R2R so I just inform people where I got it when they ask.

Just from doing a quick search on amazon I just found a seller that carries it but it will not be available until Feb 2. The down side is that it is double the price than the other website, I am not sure if it is the exact same thing though, just trying to help people find more sources. There will probably be a lot more places carrying it the more the word gets out about it killing Bryopsis. I just hope they keep the prices down enough for everyone to be able to use it that needs it.

If you google fish flucon (fluconazole) a lot of places pop up. You can even buy per pill.

Payless went up on the price after we started buying it from them. That's nothing new.Something gets popular...Price goes up.

Supply and demand. This is why I purchased more than I needed right off. I'm sitting on 17 3/4 capsules. Not sure what the half life is on this medication, but still glad at did.

I dosed the pico tank a little less than 1/3 of a capsule. This is over dosing slightly. Probably put around 45mg in. There is no bryopsis. This is to see if there are effects on cyano and gha.

I've got 140 capsules put back. (Don't judge me )


My gha is definitely dying off. There's no telling what kind I have though and if everyone's gha will react the same way.

Looking really good here! I think the white light increase may have helped accelerate the process. My power head is clean now and clumpsave I saw yesterday are gone today. The lower light area is looking more effected today.
