Someone mentioned that their hair algae was looking a little less healthy. Any update on if the hair algae was affected? I too ordered some last night. Received a shipment confirmation today.

Yeah I've noticed that some of my hair algae is turning white now. None of it that is in shaded areas are doing this though just what's in lighted areas. It's not really breaking up or coming off of the rocks either but it is turning white. The top half of the hair is white but the bottom is still green.

You don't run a chaeto refugium correct?
Anyone run chaeto and did it have any negative affect?

Mine cleared up in an hour or so and my corals didn't seem to notice at all.

Those couple of extra steps though will be well worth it after a couple of weeks. :)

So hoping so ! Just a bit worried about the dosing. Calc comes out at 1400 mg. That's a 350 L system with about 20% displacement. Too much or too little?

Also ordered. After initially weakening following my move and my continued dosing of Vibrant, it looks like the bryopsis is starting to come back. I don't intend to let it. :D

350l = around 92gal - 20% = around 73gal x 20mg/gal = 1460mg . Yep 1400mg looks good to me. :)

This is the Fluconazole that i used.. https://www.payless-petproducts.com/fluconazole200.html

As far as the dosage for your system goes it depends on how much your total water volume is. Most(i think) people usually take off 15 to 20% for rocks/sand/equipment/inhabitants. Do you have anything attached to this system like a sump/fuge/external skimmer?

Thanks. .... calmed my nerves [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

Yeah I was nervous too at first but I knew that I could move everything to a different system if things went badly.

After seeing the results for myself and not having any issues arise,it seems as though the struggle with Bryopsis can actually become a thing of the past.
