@Robin Haselden cold the baby have found a prettier cave?
I doubt it. Surprised me to see her under there. She left from under the trachy to go to the actual cave cave after eating. I saw her in there yesterday as well.

@Robin Haselden shared a link the other day which talked about how live phytos can control nutrients in a reef tank. I’ve been dosing phyto feast live for a while now, and have very low nutrient levels, in spite of heavily feeding. Didn’t put 2 and 2 together until reading his link, maybe worth checking out? I have personally decided to steer clear of refugiums/algae reactors because of how much other stuff they absorb that I would rather remain in the water column for my corals.
I currently dose reef nutrition's phyto feast live, and am waiting for some live phyto culture and f/2 fertilizer to show up so I can start my own culture. Doing it to keep pod population up, but the nutrient control would be awesome.

How long have you been dosing?

I'm curious who doesn't refrigerate theirs?
Live Phytoplankton should be unless you will use it all in a few days. For our tank sizes we end up wasting a bunch even when we refrigerate.

I would think one of my many LFS would. It would benefit so many tanks. Some do brine shrimp, but none do their own Phyto or pods. Just such a waste to get them shipped. I guess we should start culturing our own. The cost would be almost nil, but we would still waste a lot. Sharing it would be nice too.

Check this out. @Retro Reefer picked one up from Harbor Freight for $10. 24" long, battery powered pump. Thinking of so many uses for a tank.
